Chantilly, VA – January 23rd, 2017 – Cohen Equities announced today that the SOC, a leading provider of integrated security and critical infrastructure solutions for the U.S. Departments of State, Energy, and Defense, Fortune 500 companies, and non-governmental organizations, has signed a lease for 44,441 square feet at Avion Lakeside II. The tenant will occupy the entire second floor of the office building, located at 3975 Virginia Mallory Drive in Chantilly VA. Tom Cresce of JLL represented Cohen Equities in the transaction, and Bill Zonghetti of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the tenant. The SOC joins C2 Essentials at the property. The human resources company recently signed a long term lease at Avion Lakeside II occupying 17,039 square feet.

Cohen Equities acquired the 130,265 square foot office building in August, 2015 and has since added the adjacent office building – Lakeside I – to its portfolio. The office portfolio is situated just minutes south of Dulles International Airport within Avion Business Park, a 188-acre master planned business community.
Cohen Equities has been very active over the past two years in acquiring and improving assets throughout the Metro DC area, including several other large office assets in Maryland that they have successfully leased.
